Some of them seem to have eaten but not all. The pinheads in most vials are now trapped in webs so harmless.

Do you think springtails will work?

I'll be honest I don't know, I've never used them so I know little about them

@Shampain Yours are younger than mine so as long as they have water they'll be fine for a while yet.

@Enn49 Ok thanks I'll just wait till next week :) I've been contemplating the honey water thing we discussed but what if they get stuck in it? It'll surely be sticky once dry no matter how much it's diluted?

@Shampain That's true. Mine have just had a quick squirt of water down the side of the vial.

I'm at 3 now, found one on the wall :( So there's a good chance there's been an escape of uncomfortable proportions, crap!

My few escapees were fairly easy to find, none went far and they all went upwards so with a bright torch they were quite easy to spot.

So sorry for the losses but, if any are escapees, I hope you are able to find, if not all or most, at least some.

so now every time @Shampain feels a creepy crawly on the back of his neck he can't swat it, it may be one of the escapees ;) Wonder what it's like to live with a hundred or so freshly hatched spiders in your house.... :p

lmao, you're a bad man :D there's nowhere near that amount though, she ate most of the eggs and a lot of eggs spoiled too so it was a dodgy sac but I counted 7 live but there could've been more as I had to scoop up the substrate that some eggs fell in while the mum was eating them :( They're good at hiding in dry coir lol. It's still a lottery as to how many I had and how many have went all great escape on me :( There's defo none in the substrate

    An update on Tallahassee's babies.
I've just fed and watered them and there have been a quite few losses, down to 54 now.

    This one is a monster
