So I have been taking care of my daughter's Pink Toe. He/she just made their first appearance after their 2nd molt. They had been in their den for more than 3 weeks. It's very exciting but confusing. My daughter wants to feed her and I keep on finding conflicting info so I'm here for help. Thinking I need to wait at least a week.

So when can I remove the molt from the den? She never leaves it to go on the ground. At least when we see her. Don't see anything, but the den is vertical.

Any feedback would be helpful...

The general rule is to leave off feeding until the fangs turn black. If you can't see the fangs, I'd leave a week from the moult to be safe.

I give it a week until they harden up a tad, water dish full or keep some droplets on the side of the enclosure

So her fangs looked black. I had been seeing glimpses of her feet for for than a week before she emerged. Got some some crickets This evening.

She's smart. Knows when she's getting fed and moves up from her den. Barely dropped the cricket in and she was on it. All is good!
