LED Enclosure Lighting

    Pretty sweet! I recently set up something similar with flexible RGB strips around the top of the enclosure. One word of advise regarding the UV light you mention - don't use them. UV is one of the few spectrums of light the tarantula can actually see so shining UV on them is like strong floodlights that will stress the heck out of the animal. It's the worst. Red light on the other hand is perceived as pitch black so if you want to observe night time behaviour this would be the frequency you should go for.

    The UVBL is on the scorpion's enclosure only and used only occasionally and for a few seconds. Never on a T enclosure.
