Someone successfully took down her first non disabled mealworm today. Her butt has assumed Mammoth proportions!!
Way to go Charlotte!! Note I won't be pulling off cricket legs one at a time so often anymore.
I'm trying to get her out of the spiderling stage so that she will be more secure in life. I still think she's small enough to be vulnerable.
She took it down like a pro after being prodded with a beam from my tactical flashlight to where it was. Even though they are refrigerated, mealworms put up one heck of a struggle when grasped. She held 5 legs or if the way but the fangs never left. As of now, she's still eating it.
She was fed at 12 noon. Here's pics.
