dubia question for breeders

    Tho my breeding project is goin slow since i dont have alot of adults maybe 20 or so

    That would make sense. The sub probably helps them get a grip to right themselves

    Is there supposed to be a bottom??? I was told its fine if its simply just the bottom of the tote!

    it is. Some put a layer of substrate down to help keep the smell down that can build up after a while. I've never bothered with substrate. when my stupid roaches were actually breeding well i just cleaned the tub every other week or so.

    Some people will use eco earth to help with humidty. I havent had any issues with them breeding not using it. Even during the winters here in the north east

    If you have a clean tub no smell happens. Cleaner beetles have helped with cleaning
