Do the lights in my house bother my T's at night

It just occurred to me that the light in my T area stays on all night for my parents to see to the washroom.
Is this a problem, should I cover them up at night? The are 60watt, not directly on them or anything.

They are nocturnal and prefer darkness so covering them couldn't hurt. Conversely if you're not noticing any behavior that would be a sign of stress I wouldn't worry too badly.

I prefer to cut the lights for my guys at night but you could always offer them a hide or side of the enclosure that they can go to that the light doesn't reach?

they need to be able to see a change from day to night and vice versa. it's not good to keep them always in the light or always in the dark. I'd cover them at night and uncover in the morning.

I bought some black cardboard and am covering them at night.
