My Versi seems to have the zoomies at the moment. It seems a lot more active than usual, even during the day. Yesterday it actually gave me a fright hanging upside down from its ceiling drinking water droplets.

That's it just after knocking its water bowl over. I don't know whether it's looking for food (having eaten just 2 days ago), but now I know why the bowl is always empty, lol. Little vandal!

Now it's extending its web at the bottom

As I said, very entertaining spider at the moment

Frustrating, lol: I keep trying to take a picture of my Versi since it's molted, because it's now nearly got its adult colours, but it's a lot more skittish since its last molt and keeps retreating at the slightest disturbance. This is the best I could get so far which is a shame because it's truly beautiful now.

It's eating (and pooping) fine, so I hope this new found shyness is not due to stress... If I had to estimate it is now about 3"DSL so not fully grown yet.

My A. versi has now moved into its all grown up enclosure. Rehouse wasn't easy, because the old enclosure is rubbish for opening and getting into, but we managed.

Avicularia sp. "amazonica" [emoji14] They're still an undescribed species. So is kwitara.
