    I think it would be fine. :) I would make sure that if anyone is uncomfortable with it is out of the room first, because some people have phobias.

    I recommend the rose hair (grammostola rosea). I have one and the moment I got her she was my favourite. Even my brother has held her and he's only 4. I've never seen a Rosie pissed off! If you're looking for one more 'cool' looking the B Smithi / Red.knee is also a good choice. :)
