Hobby lobby display cases are cheap with sale just drill holes in sides or top. If no sale can buy from pioneer plastics as well.

It will be fine just might be a little harder for it to find food (I would just drop the food near them so it shouldn’t really matter.

I fed mine roaches when they were tiny slings I have them any small feeder I had on hand (maggots, baby mealworm, roach nymphs, pinhead cricket)

Mine have been fairly skittish for their whole lives though ymmv. They have amazing feeding response and easily take down prey their size or even larger. Care is fairly easy as they are very hardy. I like this species a lot.

What did you use to cut it?

Going to add leaf litter so she can make a curtain out of that

I think grass even if dead can look kinda nice for arid look idk

Do you have a thermostat to pair with it? I use a thermostat designed for seedling mat off Amazon

Used a large cork bark flat and bone dry top soil. Now trying switching to moss and oak bark tube thing. If she doesn’t seem to settle into it I can always revert back to what it was before I guess, but it was pretty hard to display a glass case of dirt and one piece of wood :/

If you use an ultra sonic humidifier with tap water it will leave white “dust” all over the place. I switched to an evaporative one for that reason

Females have wings as well just for the record (also do not fly they can flutter though)

I was able to feed the beetles to my Chilobrachys sling in the past. Nothing else really seemed interested in them though. It’s definitely doable tho

To be fair I’ve never seen any fruit they don’t like. Lobsters are awesome
