    The Walking Dead

Season 6 is steering the show away from the melodrama.

    Baby Trinidad Chevron not hungry?

for a few days but she wasn't eating them. her last hide is destroyed but shes already made a new one... Yeah she might be somewhat stressed but shes been left unobserved for a while in a corner of a shelf. I think shes not too disappointed. Shes of the sort that likes to build a cave around...

    Baby Trinidad Chevron not hungry?

I removed them. I got a separate tupperware enclosure for crickets that seems to work

    Baby Trinidad Chevron not hungry?

It chowed on crickets the beginning of last month but hasn't bothered ever since. i added a little bit of sphagnum to the enclosure. No molts either. The sling has a tendancy to build a thick wall of dirt and webs around itself and crickets can't get in there unless I use tweezers. Did this and...

    The Walking Dead

No spoilers now. Whose psyched about the series approach from interpersonal drama to larger-world story progress?i'm not going to say what happens specifically but basically years into the ZA everyone begins to learn farming and survive in the 'new world' and deal with the walkers as a force of...

    female black widow toxicity

Black widows never struck me as aggressive. venomous doesn't mean aggressive. My aunty had one in the living room for 12 years. maybe it had babies or it was dead? The spider in the bathroom here has already gone close to a year or longer and made a few egg sacks.

    female black widow toxicity

Okay, thats not the worst case scenario despite feeling aweful after.

    female black widow toxicity

Spiders are the only HOTs I'd consider. I've seen some mellow cobras in enclosures but outside that and the handlers own discretion venomous snakes are really iffy.

    female black widow toxicity

I wanna try my hand at handling a simple HOT. I'm pretty certain widow venom isn't crazy deadly if I'm not mistaken. How much bad could it get? My physician got me some epipens because of a non existent shrimp allergy that showed up, I'm wondering if they could be applied here.

    Best introductory species to breeding

Is this a small tarantula for a 2 year old ? its a porteri. If you say a male lives more than a year than I wonder if veronica is really a male. i had her as a sling. thats a toilet paper roller near her.

    Best introductory species to breeding

right so buy a few pink toes. In fact buy 4or so to make sure a male is in the mix. I'm pretty sure the whole shelf comes from 1 litter.

Arboreal dangers for a tiny climber

Well the definition of biochemical life is essentially water and metabolic processes and their components and tarantulas are a living thing so of course. This is a species from a forest after all! Trinidad even. she has a water dish on the ground now. shes been building and building and...

    Substrate question

This is crap! I dumped the substrate out (mixed with dirt, i don't even know how!) and now she's sitting in newspaper shreds!

Arboreal dangers for a tiny climber

What if the water bowl to me is a hassle as opposed to misting once a week? That soil stays moist for some time, i hardly see a need for the second time. the humidity is in the enclosure is discernible. Outside is cold-ish but insideI think she has her 75-78 degree paradise. i'm presuming when...
