So mold isnt harmful? I have a sling that has just been here a week and has already shut up shop to molt .I spotted mold ...even in the other enclosure . The substrate isnt mud. The bigger t isnt showing signs of molting. Is it better just to leave the one that is alone? Thank you

I was getting ready to put my Grammostola pulchripes in a smaller enclosure and he /she has closed up shop. There is a small log type thing that ( Im just going to call it a boy).
He has claimed and there is a big pile of dirt blocking the opening..wow and one side is webbed up..I opened...

When I purchased the 2 , the bigger is a 2 inch tarantula. The other is 3/4.The place said the size . I was surprised. Im changing them this weekend. Its challenging when one is newish and there is a lot of information out there. Grateful for this forum.
Not mud . As I was mixing it I kept checking making sure not to be able to have water pour out when squeezing it. The enclosure has holes all the way around it. Thank you for the help
