I was planning on redoing (his) cage soon anyway so I will definitely add more substrate and he doesn't even use the hide hardly ever so you suggest I get rid of it? What else could I include to make this a better habitat for him? Does it need to be humid at all? I've been told no. And I will...
Thank you! I'm trying to get her back to herself lol. It's a coconut substrate. It's like the kind that's tight packed then you soak it in water. I never really keep her cage moist cause I've been told rosehairs don't need high humidity. Is this wrong? We normally keep our house about 75 degrees
I've had my Rosehair for quite a few months now. She was bred and raised in a pet store. Ever since I brought her home she began to go bald on the abdomen. I know that can be normal but it's had grown significantly worse. Her back legs have no hairs on them and she's always quite reserved. She...

Nada, why am I reading everywhere about this high humidity that they're suppose to have? Another source is saying 75%-80% humidity. I know that you're from Chile and around South America so it seems odd for people to say that. Do you know why this is?
Just got my first T, a G. Rosea, the lady I bought her from said she's about 2-3 years old. Is there a way to tell how old she really is? I have a ten gallon tank and coco substrate a fairly large hide, water dish and foliage. She seems to be very shy right now but I'm sure she's just getting...
I have a water dish in her cage, but no stones. Is this same dish she will drink out of? And where can I get these cables and I'm assuming you can adjust the temperature on them?
I have a 10 gallon tank with coco substrate. We keep the house at about 70-75 F. I've heard that heating pads can cause hot spots but also that a rose hair needs a warm environment. I've also read that it needs to be at about 70% humidity. How do I achieve this without the cage being too moist...
I just got mine a day ago. And I love her, already two years old but she needed a home. I've held her a couple times but just letting her get used to the surroundings
